At the border and the road

One of the trucks returning to Freetown after the jungle-road--to-the-Liberian-border-and-back trips yesterday... Elder Randall is getting ready to have it washed.
Clean up! Clean up!
Elders Lambson, Kirkham, Ameworlor and Mazani waiting at the Liberian side of the border for the other trucks to arrive from Bo.  They were playing Book of Mormon trivia.
Elder Lambson with Elder and Sister Krumm at the border.  The Krumms and Kirkhams are the Senior Couples in Liberia.
We took six missionaries out of Liberia to Sierra Leone and took five into Liberia from Sierra Leone.  It is quite the logistical plan to make it all work; but, it is His Sweet Work falling in place.
Exchanging luggage and bags...  (All border pics from the Kirkhams)
Elder Purcell made a big Welcome sign for Elder Burton and Elder Richards arriving in Kenema!
From Elder and Sister Randall's view in the van as they went to Kenema with Elder Richards and Elder Burton.
Kenema has lots of cattle...

This is Br. Coker who left Friday for the Ghana MTC and will serve his mission in the Nigeria Port Hartcourt Mission.  It takes lots of faith for missionaries to leave from Sierra Leone and Liberia.  Almost all have never been on an airplane or in an airport.  Most have never traveled on the water taxi across the water to the Lungi Airport.  We admire such faithfulness and courage to serve the Lord for two years.
