Fourth of July

Sister and Elder Patterson, Elder Neves and Sister Neves, President Roggia's arm and my hand!  Happy Fourth!  We had some hot dogs (which Elder Patterson BBQ'd for us), potato salad, coleslaw, pickles, baked beans, angel food cake with cherries/whipped topping.  We watched the new Joseph Smith History movie from the Mormon Channel that our son, Aaron, downloaded to a DVD for us.
Our sparklers are courtesy of President and Sister Squires who left them in the Mission Home and we found them to use just for this occasion!

Sister Roggia--

I happened to stumble across this blog while I was looking up info about Freetown with my oldest son. I had no idea you were there! I was so surprised to see your picture when I clicked on the link.

I think you may know some friends of mine who live in Freetown--Kathy and Travis Talbot. We were in the same ward in Maryland for several years after we left Mannheim.

It looks like you've got a lot of great missionaries. I'm so glad your blog popped up on Google! :)

Brandi, Happy you found the blog! Yes, we know the Talbots. We've had them for dinner with their children. We hope your family is doing well!
