November Zone Conferences Throughout the Mission

Liberia Monrovia Zone Conference. (I set the camera on a little table that was lower than the rest of us... so, those in back look really, really tiny.)

For mail to Liberia-- here is an additional way:

Missionary Name
LIBERIA - Sierra Leone Freetown Mission
PO Box 30150
Salt Lake City, Utah 84130-0150
"POUCH"

Look to the right of this post and you will see the other addresses that work for Sierra Leone and Liberia.

Remember not to insure any packages.  Wrap them securely.  Put religious pictures on them.  Keep the value less than $50.  We don't want to use mission funds to pay extra to get them out of the post offices.

Packages take anywhere from one month to a year to arrive...and, some don't at all.  It would be wise not to put anything of real value in them.

More pictures to come in the next few days. :-) We have been soooo busy and not close to a working internet.

Liberia new arrivals from the MTC

We had 12 missionaries fly into Liberia.  We were able to arrange to fly with them from Accra.  It was great to see them all in the airport and do some orientation as well.  We took them to their apartments for the night.  President Roggia interviewed them all during the week we were in Monrovia.
Welcome!

To Liberia, branch split

This is the new hovercraft for crossing the waters to the airport.  It is so very smooth and fast across the water... maybe 20-25 minutes. It holds 80+ passengers. This is the way to go!  And a nice bus takes everyone to the airport in about 15 minutes.
The sky as we flew.  It was so beautiful.  A photo just doesn't capture the beauty totally.
Elder Harris and Elder Kouao with Elder Kirkham
On their way back to the apartment as we drove off...  Theirs is the one through the door by the yellow car and inside the blue balcony.  It isn't a clear picture but gives an idea where they live.
Elder Addo waiting for his interview with President Roggia.
Elders Mohlahatsa, Addo, Osifo, and Boakye.
Elder Buckman, so happy to get some mail!
These good sisters are some of the Bushrod Island District Auxiliary Leaders.
Brewersville Branch after the split two weeks ago.
Members of the new Banjor Branch!  The chapel is filled to capacity already; so, we anticipate another split in the future.
Ah-h, just love our missionaries!
